The housing estate known as 'Tetti blu', comprising 6-8 storey towers and terraced houses, was built thanks to a funded town planning project. The project created 280 apartments, 89 houses and shops, with a total surface area of 30,000m2.
The estate was named after its coloured aluminium roofs.
Another four 8-storey council housing apartment blocks were built on a nearby plot in Via Tevere, with a total of 88 apartments.
