EX TOBLER FACTORY

PDF
The project involved converting a factory near the Dora river, on the edge of the historic city centre, once the headquarters of the Tobler chocolate factory, mainly into apartments.
The work drew upon innovative techniques in terms of limiting energy consumption, such as the use of a heat pump and ground water for heating and air conditioning, low-e, photochromic windows and external walls insulated with the latest generation of materials.
In all, 75 residential loft apartments with terraces, private gardens and roof gardens were created, notable for their low maintenance costs.
