The commissioning association, a non-profit organisation, undertook the restoration of the historic Villa Rey, a 17th-century hillside residence owned by the borough council of Turin, of great historic, artistic and architectural value.
With the cooperation of Piedmont's Department of Architectural and Environmental Heritage, the construction site was used as a training lab for experimenting avantgarde technology in the field of restoration work from 2004 until 2006.
